C. J. Majewski wrote the songs and book for Young Billy beginning in the spring of 2001. He has written music and scripts for over 20 years. He recently completed work on a documentary, The Children of Alcatraz.

Ed Goldfarb contributed arrangements and co-authored "Legend of Billy the Kid", as well as suggestions to the book of Young Billy. Ed provided music for the Apocalypse Now Redux DVD, has scored other musicals and has a gold record for work with Boyz 2 Men. He is the former music director of Beach Blanket Babylon.
